Sydney's Biggest Laughs Return This Summer
with the inaugural 2026 Sydney Comedy Revue

Sydney audiences are set to finish the year on a high as some of Australia's most beloved comedians come together for the inaugural Sydney Comedy Revue, taking over the iconic State Theatre on Tuesday, December 29.

Designed as a celebration of Australian comedy during the festive season, the 100-minute spectacular will feature an all-star line-up including comedy legend Vince Sorrenti, the incomparable Mary Coustas as Effie, satirical Wharf Revue stars Jonathan Biggins and Phil Scott, fan favourite Heath Franklin as Chopper, as well as acclaimed stand-up performers and rising stars Ting Lim, Cam Knight, Brandon Duff and Steve Philp.

And to ensure it’s entirely relevant, apart from delivering some of their all-time funniest material, each artist will also deliver their own take on incidents, events or people which were significant during 2026.

The Sydney Comedy Revue aims to establish a new annual tradition in the city's entertainment calendar, creating a unique post-Christmas experience that brings audiences back into the CBD while supporting local hospitality and tourism businesses.
